CONGRATULATIONS
On April 26th the Belleville Public Library and Information Center hosted the seventh annual Taste of Belleville. Many of the restaurants in town donate food to this event. Tickets are sold at a reasonable price and the event is always a sell out.
The event is held on the second floor of the Library located on Washington Ave at the corner of Academy St.
Every year at this event, The Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual who has distinguished him or her self by outstanding service to the Library.
This year the award was presented to our classmate, Carol Damiano Casale. To anyone who has ever worked on a project with Carol this comes as no surprise.
In addition to her work on the Friends of the Library Executive Board, and The Woman's Club of Belleville Carol is one of the dynamos spearheading the plan for the BHS class of 1958 reunion to be held this fall.
